NITE's advanced BPI Multi Building Analyst training course teaches individuals who want to learn energy auditing requirements for multifamily housing. Students will learn fundamentals of building science and then learn to apply those concepts to the unique nature of multifamily residential housing.
This BPI Multifamily Building Analyst Certification course will teach you how to apply building-as-a-system fundamentals to diagnose problems and improve the performance of larger, more complex residential structures. In order to apply for this course a student must have completed the BPI Building Analysts Certification course or have prior experience with HVAC systems and their operations. Training will include a review of some the Building Analyst concepts, but this is not a Building Analyst preparatory course.
Throughout this 16 hour course students will learn about each of these topics: Utility Usage Analysis, Energy Modeling & Economic Analysis, Diagnostics & Inspections, Blueprint Evaluation, Site Visit Inspection, Review of Mechanical Systems, Review of Air Handling Systems, and Energy Management Controls
16 Classroom hours and 4 hours of exams are included.
